Based upon the Gates Of Paradise in Florence Italy, sculpted by Lorenzo Ghiberti in the 1400's, this piece is a collage of choral, instrumental and narrative power. Absolutely thrilling from beginning to end. Movements include: In The Beginning, Cain Lies To God, Noah Leaves the Ark, The Conquest of Jericho, David Challenges Goliath, Sarah At The Tent, Jacob Steals Esau's Birthright, Moses Receives The Ten Commandments from God, A Great Deliverance, and King Solomon Welcomes the Queen of Sheba at Court.
